About This Activity

We've been waiting all year to bring back the Cozy Toes Fun Run. We had a lot of fun. But more importantly we raised a lot of support for Urban Ministries with both cash and clothes donations to help serve the homeless during the Winter months. The game and mission are the same this year: come walk, jog, or run to help those in need this winter.

This is a special kind of event that you can't do anywhere else in the Triangle. Basically, run as much or as little as you want! You'll have 90 minutes to run as far and as fast as you can. There will be prizes for Most Miles, Fastest Mile, Youngest Miler, and Oldest Miler. How many laps can you do in 90 minutes? Last year we had a guy run 12 laps! Again, we ask participants to bring gently used clean running shoes, and new hats and gloves for the homeless.

Participants can choose to race individually or as a relay team. Prizes are available for both categories!

Race Location: Cary Towne Center

Course Information: The course is the inner ring road around Cary Towne Center.

Events: Youth, Juniors, Adults, Novices, and Families are welcome.  All participants will have official chip-recorded times with posted results.  All Fit & Able Productions, Inc. events are inclusion events: anyone of any age or skill-level can participate in any race course! Dogs are not permitted to participate with runners in USA Track & Field sanctioned events.

Laps: The big group start will be at 9 AM but anyone may start their race until 9:30 AM. The course will remain open until 10:30 AM. Participants will not be able to start a new lap after 10:25.

Awards: Omega Sports gift card awards will be presented for Most Miles, Fastest Mile, Youngest Miler, and Oldest Miler. Awards eligibility: 3 lap minimum for individuals/5 lap minimum for relay teams.

Packet Pick-up: All participants must show a photo ID in order to pick up their race packets.  All participants must pick up their own race packet and sign the Fit & Able and USATF waivers.  Minors must be with a guardian to pick up their race packet.

Athletic Trainer: An athletic trainer will be available onsite.


Registration Fee: Racing individually or on a relay team

  • Until November 19th: $20 per runner
  • On Race Day November 20th: $25 per runner
