The Cary Unity Walk is an event to celebrate citizens working together to support local first responders and create a safe, unified, and nurturing community for our youth and our future. This event will also benefit two non-profit organizations that serve many needs in our community.
The 200 Club of Wake County provides immediate financial help for the families of police officers, sheriff deputies, firefighters, EMS squad members, and North Carolina highway patrol serving in Wake County who lose their life in the line of duty.
The North Carolina Law Enforcement Torch Run® for Special Olympics unites officers from law enforcement agencies and corrections departments across the state in an effort to raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics North Carolina.
This event will kick off with a walk from Downtown Cary to WakeMed Soccer Park. Fit & Able will also stage a 5K and 10K race at WakeMed Soccer Park.

Fit & Able Productions is a nonprofit organization that has been supporting community and family fitness in Cary since 1997 through organizing creative events and training programs. We also support many programs, such as swim safety lessons for underprivileged children and adults, youth fitness programs, and health education run by our community partners including the Cary Family YMCA, Triangle Aquatic Center, and Town of Cary. Proceeds from our events that aren't designated to support other organizations go to support the event and other Fit & Able nonprofit activities.
