Did you know Apex High is home to the nation's top Academy of Information Technology? The students and staff of Apex High will be moving temporarily to Green Level High School on June 13th, 2017 while the current building is torn down and the new school is built. When Apex students move to Green Level, they will be in a brand new building but will not receive any new technology (computers, projectors, laptops, etc.). This means that the computers and technology that exists at Apex now, will go to Green Level with them, then come back to the new Apex. When the school reopens in 2019, Apex High will not receive any new technology due to the construction being a "renovation project" rather than being a brand new school like Apex Friendship.
If the school's technology is currently outdated, just imagine how outdated the technology will be in 2019!
To help raise money for purchasing new educational technology for the future students of Apex High School, two students are teaming up to host the Apex Trek4Tech 5k Run/Walk. The event will benefit Apex Technology Fund and help the Academy of Information Technology remain one of the top public academies in the country. Come support a great cause and enjoy an afternoon filled with fun and excitement! Invite family, friends, classmates, teachers, and teammates. All are welcome!

Fit & Able Productions is a nonprofit organization that has been supporting community and family fitness in Cary since 1997 through organizing creative events and training programs. We also support many programs, such as swim safety lessons for underprivileged children and adults, youth fitness programs, and health education run by our community partners including the Cary Family YMCA, Triangle Aquatic Center, and Town of Cary. Proceeds from our events that aren't designated to support other organizations go to support the event and other Fit & Able nonprofit activities.
