About This Activity

Triathlons can often seem overwhelming to the beginner athlete, hence our transition and swim clinic is designed to break it all down and give you a "mini" triathlon experience. We will go over the TRANSITION and how to set up your transition spot and bike on race day. You will do the swim, a short bike ride and a short run. No triathlon experience required, although we do ask that you have previous open water swimming experience.

Plan to arrive BEFORE 9 am!

  • 9:00 am -11:00 check in, transition and race prep Q&A with Coach Heidi
  • 11:00- 12:00 pm get ready to get in the water and SWIM!

 What to bring:

  • Wetsuit (If you need one to rent, please email stephen@smokerwetsuits.com He will be on site at the clinic with wetsuits for rent.)
  • Goggles
  • Swim Cap
  • Bike
  • helmet
  • bike shoes
  • running shoes
  • hat
  • sunglasses
  • Towel
  • Snacks
  • Something to drink
  • Chair
  • Layers. for getting warmed up after your swim (it may be foggy in the morning)
  • AND.....ALL of your racing questions!
