About This Activity

On December 31, 2013, nine year old, Emma Caroline Johnson sustained a traumatic brain injury. After surgery she was placed in the pediatric intensive care unit. When it was determined that she was going to survive this horrible accident, doctors began planning rehab for our Emma. Emma still has many months of rehab ahead of her to relearn everything. Insurance only pays for very limited rehab and any modified equipment needed for Emma will be out of pocket for her parents. The proceeds of the race will go to helping with the expenses incurred while Emma recovers.
