About This Activity

Welcome to Dickson County, Tennessee and Montgomery Bell State Park for the 4th annual 2014 Dickson Lions Club Cycle for Sight.  The ride starts and ends at the softball field pavilion in the park.    This event features 2 rides this year:  a 26 mile tour and a 62 mile metric century.  Both routes will take you through the unrivaled fall beauty of the rolling hills, forests, meadows, and farm land of Dickson County with well supplied rest stops along the way, including one at the historic Dickson County Courthouse, oldest courthouse in the state still in use.  The metric century also passes through the historic village of Cumberland Furnace, where Tennessee's iron industry of the 19th century originated.  View the Metric Century at www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/455315944.  View the 26 mile ride at www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/454519746.    The ride also features well stocked rest stops, mechanical & sag support, showers and a cookout after the ride.  Contact Montgomery Bell State Park Inn (615-797-3101) for hotel accommodations, or reserve a campsite at the campground.  Proceeds from this event will support the sight service projects of the Dickson Lions Club.
