About This Activity
The first annual Brillion Nature Center trail run will take place at the Brillion Nature Center. The run will be run on the Brillion Nature Center Trails which run through wooded areas and meadows. The surface is a mix of grass, wood chips, and crushed limestone. The trails are well maintained and the course is generally flat. This inaugural is being conducted on the same day as the Nature Center’s “Art in the Prairie” day. This event is for all levels and abilities - from competitive runners to those who would like a leisurely stroll on some beautiful trails. All proceeds from this event will go to the Brillion Nature Center.
Event details and schedule
The race will take place on August 8th at 8:30am at the Brillion Nature Center. Registration is online through August 5th. After August 5th, one can register on race day starting at 6:30am. Packet pickup will be on race day only starting at 6:30am. Registration is $20 through July 15th, $25 July 16th-August 5th, and $30 on race day. Proceeds will go to the Brillion Nature Center. Registration includes a t-shirt and drinks and snacks at the finish.
Awards: Top three male and female competitors in each category: Overall, 19 and under, 20-29-30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over.
Course: 5K trail run on trails in and around the Brillion Nature Center. The trails are well maintained and are relatively flat. The surfaces are grass, wood chips, and curshed limestone.
Directions: Go West from HWY PP south of Brillion on Deer View Road. This road will lead you to the Nature Center.
