About This Activity

The Jefferson Davis Community College (JDCC) Foundation and the Brewton Chamber of Commerce is hosting the Blueberry Fun Run/Walk 5K on Saturday, June 20, 2015.  The Blueberry Fun Run/Walk 5K takes place on scenic, wooded trails of the Jefferson Davis Community College’s (JDCC’s) 60-acre park. It starts at the JDCC College Park and, after two miles, proceeds directly to the beautiful Jennings/Burnt Corn Creek Park in downtown Brewton, site of the Annual Blueberry Festival hosted by the Brewton Area Chamber of Commerce. The event concludes at the Annual Blueberry Festival complete with live music, original arts and crafts, free children’s section, waterslide and inflatables, antique/classic car show, petting zoo, and fresh blueberries.  The Blueberry Fun Run/Walk 5K benefits the Matthew Hutton Billy Memorial Scholarship Fund for students dually enrolled in JDCC and Huntingdon College Bachelor in Business Management Degree Program in Brewton.
