About This Activity

Welcome to the inuaugural Responders' Run. The run takes place on a flat, scenic trail along Oneida Lake in the Oneida Shores Park complex. If a 5K isn't your thing, we've also got a one mile fun run/walk happening prior!

This run is to support and honor those who serve in police, fire and EMS capacities throughout Onondaga and surrounding counties.

The fun will kick off on Sept. 20 with a one mile fun run/walk, perfect for kids and families. At 10 a.m., the timed 5K will begin on the trail along Oneida Lake.

The event culminates with an after-party with prizes, raffles, vendors and live music.

Founded in 2014, the First In Foundation serves to assist and support those in public safety in and around Central New York. Supported by volunteers in emergency services in Onondaga and surrounding counties, the First In Foundation serves two main roles: providing scholarship opportunities for those in police, fire, EMS and emergency management; providing a fund and outlet to support our brothers and sisters in the case of critical illness or injury or life-changing event.
