Breaux Bridge Downtown Merchant Association presents the Annual Beaucoup des Chiens et Beaucoup des Vins and 2nd 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk fund raiser for St. Martin Parish's Animal Services (St. Martin Animal Services and St. Martin Humane Society) Main Sponsor Delhomme Animal Clinic

The race will take place in Veterans Park in historic downtown Breaux Bridge, LA

The 5 K run or 1 mile Run/walk will start and end at Veterans Park.
1 mile Fun Run/Walk with dogs, dogs must have proof of rabies vaccination and must be on a leash.

  6:30     Registration for 1 mile
  8:00     1 Mile Fun Run/Walk with dogs
  8:30     5K Run/Walk
  9:30     Blessing of Dogs - Fr. Champion
10:00     Presentation of Awards & Trophies
10:00   Police Dog Demonstration
10:30   Dog contest - People choice, Talent Competition
11:15   Dog Look a-Like contest
  1:00   Presentation Of the royal Krewe de Chein Cadien

Packet Pickup will be race morning at 6:30 am in Veterans Park

Race Fees:

Early Registration 5K - $30  

Race Day                    - $35 (Race Shirts Limited)

Early Registraiton 1 Mile - $10  (Race Shirts not included, but medals given to all finishers)

Race Day                 -  $15 

Why: To help our St. Martin Marin Parish Animal Services to provide spay/neutering

What: The festivities will start at 9:30 and feature Blessing of dogs, Yappy Hour with our local Veterinarians ( educational sessions), Adopt A Dog, Photo with Pet & Owner, Food and Drink booths, Fun Activities, and Yappetizers for your pet and Barking for wine or prizes contest. Bar Bars (water bowls) will be provided.
Presentation of our dog Mardi Gras Krewe, Le Krewe de Chiens Cajuns.

St. Martin Parish Sheriff office will provide a Police dog demonstration which will include their police dog tracking Narcotic and an attack demonstration on a would be criminal.

LSART Trailer on Display– a show piece of emergency state animal response used in relations to emergencies or disasters. Veterinarians, animal control officers, humane organizations, and citizen volunteers make up LSART's membership list.
