Before the craze of the holi-daze...enjoy a scenic, fast and mostly flat road run through the rural fall beauty of Sandyston Township. Runners, walkers and hobblers will roll through beautiful farm country for an out and back 5k along paved township roads.
Who? You, and your friends, and your kids, and your parents and your neighbors and your parents neighbors...any and all are welcome! (No pets please.)
Where and When? Event packets can be picked up from 6:30pm-7:30pm on November 26th or beginning at 7:30am on the day of the event at Sandyston Municipal Building at 133 Rt. 645 Sandyston, NJ 07826. The run will kick off at 9am. T-shirts and SWAG bags are available for the first 150 runners registered. Parking will be available to the left side of the municipal building and around the back. The right side of the building MUST be kept clear for emergency access. Violators will be towed at the owners expense.
WHAT?- Our 5k will consist of an out and back ramble along a quiet country road. You will pass farms and cross over the scenic Flatbrook River.
Why? All proceeds from this race will go directly to Sandyston Recreation to support our youth athletics, our newly launched Pre-K program and our upcoming special events. Besides....what better way to start the holidays...a community 5K.
