About This Activity
Join us Sunday, August 17, 2014 for the newest trail running event in the DC area! Take on the Seneca Greenway and Schaeffer Trail systems known for their serene and scenic atmosphere. It’s just you, the trail, and the challenge of competing against like-minded athletes.
The marathon kicks off at the Damascus Recreational Park. The half marathon starts at Seneca Creek State Park. The 5 Miler and 5K runs start at the South Germantown Recreational Park. All 4 races will cross the finish line at the South Germantown Recreational Park (home of the Maryland SoccerPlex).
No foam. No colors. No glow sticks. Just an outstanding all trail race. Whether you’re an experienced marathoner, a seasoned fun-runner, or just starting out with a goal to get healthy and be more active. We have a run for you! Bring your friends and family to a stellar event that supports a fun and healthy lifestyle. Encourage an active lifestyle for kids of all ages. Let’s show our children that you can have fun and be active no matter your ability.
Once you cross the finish line, join us for an after party to include great food, drinks, and prizes with the whole family. We’ll also have a kid’s fun run around the South Germantown Recreational Park and lots of family friendly activities throughout the day of the events. Come on! Let’s hit the trails!
