About This Activity

CrossFit 843 is proud to host the “2014 Help Haiti Project” WOD. We have been blessed to have an opportunity to visit a local orphanage in Haiti and help by bringing medical supplies, Small toys and gifts, and The CrossFit Culture thru Health, Wellness and Community. This Years goal is to help raise $10,000 and with you help and participation we can easily achieve that and beyond. The event will host 4 WODS that are scalable to all ability and fitness levels. The 2014 Help Haiti Project is designed with Competition and Fun at its core. Live music, Vendors, and an array of Team WODS guaranteed to make you sweat. What: 2014 Help Haiti Project

Where: CrossFit 843, 184 Bluffton Rd, Bluffton SC 29910

When: Saturday September 6th Check-in @ 7:00 – 7:45 Am

Why: Raise Awareness and support for The Haitian Orphans

How: Fundraising WOD and Dinner Meet and Greet @ Hampton Lake

Price: $60 per Team

A team consists of 2 People same Gender (MM/FF)

T-Shirts included in Entry Fee

Prizes for 1st and 2nd Place Men and Women RX and Scaled


Divisions: RX and Scaled




 5 MIN AMREP burpees onto 25 lb plate

Cash In: 1000 m row, athletes switch after 500 m

-One athlete works at a time

-Damper setting your choice

-Burpee standard: chest touch deck, 2 feet land on

Bumper same time, NO full hip extension required


RX/ scaled=same standards



RX: 100 DUBS/S: 200 singles

40 KB Swing RX(50/35) S(35/25)

30 T2B/ S: 40 straight leg Abmat SU

20 HSPU to Abmat/ S: 30 HRPU feet on 45 lb plate

Time Cap: 6 min

Portion reps how you like.

Standards: KB Swing: Elbows locked out overhead, ears through

                 SU: fingers touch deck, fingers touch toes

                 HSPU : elbows locked out, temple touches Abmat

SCORE= Time when last member finishes push-ups


For Time 21-15-9-6-of:

Wall Ball (20/15) S:(15/10)

Pull-ups /S: Ring row

Slam ball will be used for WB, M= 10 ft. target, F= 9 ft. target

Rings will be hip height, chest MUST touch band in rings

One athlete works, one rests,

Portion Reps as desired

SCORE= time when last athlete finishes last pull

TIME CAP= 6 min


Strength. Partner DL

Min 0 - 4

Team has 4 min to establish team total (max pounds) of DL

*Max DL weight is 405lbs. if member of team reaches max weight then with each additional, rep 3lbs. will be added to his/her total weight.

Min 4 -5:

Max BJ (24/20) S: (20/20) each jump= 1 lbs. added to total DL

SCORE=Total DL weight lifted plus BJs.

Bar starts off naked and needed to be naked upon stating BJ
