About This Activity

Registration for The Race to End Poverty will be available on-site on Saturday, April 26, from 7:30am - 8:30am.

Run or Walk...It's a race we all can enter! Join The Race to End Poverty hosted by A Wider Circle and help children and adults lift themselves out of poverty.

Why $33? For $33, A Wider Circle can furnish the home of a child or adult living without the basics: bed, couch, dining room table, chairs, pots and pans, linens, and many other items that so many of us take for granted. For each runner who registers, one more person will have his or her home furnished!

This year's race features an exciting route in Cabin John Regional Park. It is perfect as part of your training for a longer race, as a relaxing run, or to show five kilometers who's boss.

Race t-shirts are guaranteed for the first 500 participants to register.

Kids 10 and under can participate for free - email therace@awidercircle.org for more information.

A prize will be awarded for the largest team that participates. See how many people you can register - every runner will make a difference!

Start a fundraising page and see how many homes you can furnish by asking your friends and family to support you in the Race to End Poverty. Prizes will be awarded for the individual and team that raise the most money.
