About This Activity
The IGA Nephropathy Foundation of America was founded by Bonnie Schneider of New Jersey for her son who was diagnosed with kidney disease in 2004. The IGAN Foundation provides support for patients and their families as well as funding for kidney disease research at the University of Alabama-Birmingham and Columbia University. To date the IGAN Foundation has raised almost $1,000,000 for research and patient education.
Each year, the IGAN Foundation hosts events to raise money for their ongoing research in finding a cure for kidney disease. The Jersey Shore 5K for Kidneys is perhaps the biggest event IGAN hosts with over 300 participants. Located in the quaint town of Wall, NJ, the Jersey Shore 5K for Kidneys is the perfect run/walk for families, beginners and experts alike.
The IGA Nephropathy Foundation of America thanks you for your interest and support and is hopeful of your participation on behalf of all kidney disease patients worldwide.
