About This Activity

COURSE: Both courses are wheel measured. The run/walk begins at the intersection of High and Spring Street in downtown Bellefonte and travels the perimeter of Bellefonte. Race day packet pick-up will take place on High St. across from the Train Station at Talleyrand Park (next to the Cafe) beginning at 7AM. ENTRY FEES: $20 for the 4-mile run ($10 no shirt), $30 for the 10-mile run ($15 no shirt) if post-marked by August 1, 2015. $25 for the 4-mile run ($15 no shirt), $35 for the 10-mile run ($25 no shirt) after August 1, 2015 and on race day. T-shirts will be guaranteed to the first 200 entrants. PRE-REGISTRATION and PACKET PICK-UP will take place on Friday, August 14, 2015 during the pasta dinner at St. John's Catholic School, 116 E. Bishop Street, Bellefonte, from 4-8PM. RACE DAY REGISTRATION will begin at 7am on Saturday, August 15, 2015 across from the railroad station at Talleyrand Park (next to the Cafe).FREE PARKING is available downtown, at the Match Factory and in the surrounding area. Additionally, a free shuttle is available from the Bellefonte Area High School to the downtown area throughout the span of the Fair.CHECKS should be made payable to: "The Jeremy Herbstritt Foundation"Mail in entries should be sent to: Kim Gasper, Race Director, 104 Fieldstone Lane, Bellefonte, PA 16823. RUN AWARDS will be given to the overall top male and female participants. Awards will also be given to the top three individuals in the following male and female age groups: 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and up. A special Nittany Lion statue award will go to the top 20-29 year old (corresponding with Jeremy’s age group at the time of his death).AMENITIES: Refreshments (lots of Jeremy's favorite foods...Bonfatto's wings, Hofbrau pizza, cookies and donuts to name a few), time clock at finish, mile splits, entertainment, kid’s activities and races, door prizes, raffle items, fun family oriented event at the Bellefonte Arts and Crafts Fair!
