For Love of the Sport! For Team Pride! For Bragging Rights! Bring home the Coach of the Year high point to your studio. Also, we will again have an Individual High Point. Forms will be available at the contest and at www.msmaj.com.
DUETS & TRIOS
Duets and Trios entries are now accepted online with your individual entry. Duets and Trios entries will be accepted online only. Duets Age Div: 0-18, 19-24, 25-30, 31 & over (Combined ages). Trio Age Div: 0-10.9 Juv., 11-13.9 Jr., 14 & over Sr. (Average ages).

You MUST review your registration carefully! Confirm that there is NO ERROR in the processing of the registration, either the payment method or the registration itself. Double check: contest age (as of 9/1/13) - NOT your own birthday, age group & ability level.

8:30 am - doors open; 9:00 am - team/corps, duets & trios / show twirl, rhythmic twirl and college half-time solo; followed by modeling events; then marching events, strutting, solo events; ending with announcement of Coach of the Year Award. Special events planned for coaches throughout the day.
PERFORMANCE INFO, RULES
Reverse order of entry. Directors reserve the right to make adjustments to improve the flow of the contest. ~ 2014 NBTA solo and team rules are in effect. No gymnastics. No age limit.
Bring good quality music on cassette tape, including backup. CD will be accepted for team or individual music however it is the team director or individual's responsibility to have a backup tape for each routine. Not all CDs are read successfully on boom boxes. iPods can also be used for backup-make sure it is charged.
1. Facility fee of $15 per contestant. Only one charge per family. 2. Adv Queens model in dress/gown, Beg Queens model in costume. 3. SPECIAL NOVICE SOLO offered. This event is for those soloists who have NEVER won a 1st place in solo before, including in Special Novice Solo. Win does not count towards advancement.

4. Baby Basic, Solo & Best Appearing - ages 4 & under. All will receive a medal. 5. Food will be served throughout the competition. No outside food allowed. Per school, no unauthorized cooking on school grounds. 6. Contestants are responsible for reporting to their lanes on time. Failure to do so may result in disqualification. No refunds.

7. Only contestants and officials permitted on competition floor. 8. Contestants are responsible for damage to the building and grounds. Property taken into the building at own risk. Facility, contest directors & officials are not responsible for loss, accidents, or injury. 9. No late entries. No refunds. 10. Reverse order of entry; first received will be last on. 11. Double entering is permitted in all OPEN events.
