About This Activity

The 4th Annual Race Across the World is a Fundraising Event to support Children of Zion Village, an orphanage in Namibia, Africa.  It will be a fun day filled with events for the entire family.  The beautiful 5K cross-country course meanders through wooded areas, around ponds, and across fields.  Runners will receive a t-shirt as well as participant bags filled with gifts from local businesses.  Upon completion of the race, be sure to spend time under the tents where you can learn about growing up in Africa, and about the orphans at Children of Zion Village in Namibia.  There will be a moon bounce, face painting, and other activities for children, as well as concessions for everyone.  In addition to the cross-country 5K run, there will be a walk-a-thon around the track.
