Sea Rim Striders Summer Run/Walk Series:
We are excited to start up the 33rd Annual Summer Series!
This is a FREE event and open to the Public!
The goal of the Sea Rim Striders is to promote running and walking at all levels, from top-flight marathoners to those just beginning. We encourage individuals and families to feel the excitement that comes from increased fitness and pushing your body to new levels.
The Summer Run/Walk Series runs from June 1 - Aug 17. Monday evenings at different locations. Please check our FB page for any last minute updates on Run locations due to weather or unforseen circumstances. Check FB under SEA RIM STRIDERS.
We offer a well organized event, water stations, volunteers, car keys holder, bike marshalls, music, after run food and snacks.
Summer Series #2 - Monday, June 8, 2015. 7pm. Lumberton City Park. We start promptly at 7pm. You may come early to mingle, stretch and visit vendors!
Volunteers will come early to help set up. If you are interested in Volunteering, please message the Volunteer Coordinator @ SRSclub.Volunteer@gmail.com! Prize drawing at the end of season for all Volunteers!
Membership and Membership cards are availble at the Membership Table. Summer Series Perks for Members: attending 6/12 Summer Runs = A free club shirt given at the end of the Summer. As a member, you can also qualify for a Sea Rim Striders Ambassador Jersey! And also as a Member, you get a discount on the TURKEY TROT held on Thanksgiving day, Downtown Beaumont.

Event details and schedule
Summer Series #5 - Monday, June 1, 2015. 7pm. Gulf Terrace Hike & Bike Trail. Meet at the soccer field entrance. We start promptly at 7pm. You may come early to mingle, stretch and visit vendors!
Park at the Soccer Field side.
Water is available at start/finish and at 2 locations on the 2 mile loop.
Please bring your own hydration if you tend to get overheated easily.
Use sunscreen to protect you and your family's skin, wear sunglasses or visors and proper athletic shoes.
