About This Activity

General Information

CrossFit By The Bay, in conjuction with Healing Hearts Ministries of Bay St. Louis, is hosting a Super Sprint Triathlon with a Kayak portion in place of the usual swim. The race will include a 1 Mile Kayak, 11 Mile Bike, and 1.5 Mile Run.

The race will have a shark theme, with door prizes, awards, and T-shirts all relating back to the theme.  Our goal is to present a triathlon that will be excellent for first-timers, young kids, families, and those who may have difficulty swimming.

To keep the registration fee low and still fulfill our goal of filling Healing Hearts Ministries' food pantry, we are asking all race entrants to bring a small bag of canned goods or nonperishable foods.

ALL PARTICIPANTS IN THE KAYAK PORTION OF THE RACE MUST WEAR A LIFE JACKET AT ALL TIMES WHILE IN THE KAYAK!

Aid stations will be set up at the transition area and the turn around points for both the bike and run portion.

For more information, contact Derek at 228-304-2344 or email racebythebay@gmail.com.

Teams may consist of two or three people participating on either one or two legs of the race.
