About This Activity

The Anti-Bullying 5k Color Run is an event that takes place in Barstow, Ca. The event showcases one of the many amazing trails owned by the BLM.  The untimed event has no winners or prizes, but runners are showered with colored powder, made of food-grade corn starch, at stations along the run.
If you are having a hard time getting back into a Spring fitness regime schedule, might we suggest starting off with our amazingly fun 5k? That’s what the Anti-Bullying Color Run promises to be, and it’s coming to Barstow on May 7th, 2016. Runners are encouraged to start off the run in a white T-shirt. During the run, participants are doused with different colors until they reach the finish line in multi-colored T-shirts. Now that’s the kind of marathon we can get behind! It doesn’t matter if you speed walk or race to the finish. The main goal is to have fun. Given that the event also promotes bullying awareness and prevention, we think it’s a great excuse to lace up our sneakers for a good cause…Color us excited!

***Children 3 and under are free, however the run is on a dirt track with hills that would require an all terrain stroller.
