All of the proceeds from this race will go to support the local family of Wyatt Andrews, son of Luke and Allie Andrews.Wyatt was born on January 26, 2015. Shortly after birth he was diagnosed with Treacher Collins Syndrome (TCS). His parents had no idea of the condition throughout the pregnancy. TCS is a very rare syndrome that is seen in about 1 and 50,000 births. It’s an autosomal disorder characterized by craniofacial deformities. Wyatt has the slanting eyes, cheek bones that never developed, an underdeveloped jaw, and he was born with small tabs for ears. Therefore, he does have hearing lose. Due to his underdeveloped jaw, Wyatt has swallowing and breathing issues. His first of many surgeries is scheduled for October 1st, 2015.
