About This Activity

Get away and take the short drive to Bardstown KY on a sunny Saturday for the Run for the Health of It 5k Run/Walk. Great course, winding through historic Bardstown and local neighborhoods. Stay after the race and enjoy breakfast in anyone of the cute little restaurants in the city square.

Nelson County Community Clinic is a non-profit clinic that serves the uninsured and under-insured in Nelson County by providing medical and dental services, laboratory testing, and pharmaceuticals dispensed from the onsite pharmacy all at no cost to eligible patients. The clinic is funded through grants, private contributions, and sponsorships of two annual fundraisers.

Race Shirts- FREE t-shirt guaranteed to the first 500 entrants.  Pre-registered runners may pick up t-shirts at early packet pickup.  Day of race entrants will be on a first come, first serve basis.

Packet Pickup and Late Registration-Early packet pickup and late registratioin Friday, June 19th from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. EST at St. Catherine College’s Spalding Hall, 310 Xavier Dr.  Race day begins at 7:00 a.m. until 7:45 a.m. EST.

Awards-First place male and female.  Top three male and female in each age group: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over.

Directions from Louisville-Interstate-65 south to Exit 112. Turn left on HWY 245 for 15 miles. Turn right on 3rd St. (US 31-E). At the round about take the 1st street - W. Stephen Foster Ave (US-31E) for 2 blocks then turn right on N. 5th Street.  Spalding Hall is on the left.

Directions from Lexington-West on Bluegrass Parkway to Exit 25. Right off the exit ramp onto HWY150 for 3 miles. Turn right onto N. 5th Street. Spalding Hall is on the left.

Directions from Nashville-North to Exit 93 (Bardstown-Lexington exit). Follow the Bluegrass Parkway to Exit 21 Bardstown. Left off the exit ramp onto US 31-E for 2 miles. Merge right onto W. Stephen Foster Ave. to the first light. Turn left on N. 5th Street. Spalding Hall is on the left.
