About This Activity

MOVIN' TO FIND A CURE FOR ALS

Join us Friday June 27th at the Merritt Downtown Athletic Club from 6pm to 8pm for Merritt's Athletic Clubs first ever Zumbathon for ALS.

ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, is a progressive motor neuron disease that robs people of the ability to move. But you can make a move to help — join the global Together We Dance to Cure ALS movement. 50% of funds will be donated to MDA® Augie's Quest®, a nonprofit research initiative dedicated to finding treatments and cures for ALS. And the other 50% of funds will be donated to the Brigance Brigade Foundation, founded by former Ravens player O.J. Brigance.  The Brigance Brigade provides Patient Service assistance and support to ALS families to enhance their quality of life.

We also encourage you once you have registered to establish a fundraising page and solicit your friends, family, and colleagues for donations and be eligible to receive great incentive prizes.

Don't miss this chance to experience our best Zumba instructors, including a Zumba national presenter, a live DJ, and a dance club atmosphere. Our goal is to throw the biggest Zumba Party for ALS Baltimore has ever seen and dance the night away.  You will be joined by a surprise guest from the Baltimore Ravens along with the Baltimore Ravens cheerleaders.

Registration will start at 5:15pm.  Cost is $30 and comes with a free Together We Dance T-shirt. (available to first 400 participants)
