About This Activity

Join us for the 2015 5K Runoff at 9:00 am on June 13 at Cylburn Arboretum to benefit Blue Water Baltimore and our mission to restore local waterways. Below is all the information you will need to be ready for race day. So grab your friends, family, and your running shoes and we’ll see you at the starting line!

About the Race

The 5K cross country course at Cylburn Arboretum in northwest Baltimore will make it easy to forget you are in the city. Runners will ramble along trails through gorgeous gardens, majestic forests and broad fields.  A new trail, Spicebush, recently completed will highlight the beauty of the Cylburn trail system.

The mix of easy and challenging running on mostly natural trails makes this a great trail run for all levels and ages. The field for this rare opportunity to run in an organized cross country race in the Cylburn is limited to just 200 runners. All race participants will receive a Blue Water Baltimore water bottle, proudly made in the USA and filled with Baltimore's finest tap water. After the race, participants can enjoy beverages and snacks, on the house, as well as explore Cylburn’s gardens.  Kids 12 and under also have the opportunity to participate in a 1-mile free fun run.
