About This Activity
This summer, KVCers will meet up every Saturday at 7am, for a workout that's specifically designed to improve your running. One week we'll meet at the track for a speed workout, the next week we'll meet on the trails for a hills repeats and terrain drills.Details of Saturday's workout will be posted every Friday on Facebook. The tentative schedule is below, and subject to rearrangement:June 28th -- Cony Track (1 mile time trial)July 5th -- Bond Brook TrailsJuly 12th -- Cony Track (400m repeats)July 19th -- Viles ArboretumJuly 26th -- Cony Track (ladder workout)August 2nd -- UMA TrailsAugust 9th -- Cony Track (800m repeats)August 16th -- Bond Brook TrailsAugust 23rd -- Cony Track (1 mile time trialAugust 30th -- Viles ArboretumThe easy running pace of our runners ranges from 8 minutes per mile to 13+ minutes per mile. We accommodate every level of runner--from beginners to experts. Men and women are all welcome to come and run. This group is especially great for our younger runners, since we stick together as a group and no one can get lost.If you're training for something that requires a little more mileage, that's great too. We have lots of runners who head right back out to tack on a little bit more.Does it feel like too much for you? That's okay, too. We're happy to modify the workouts to suit YOU!Only $59 for 10 weeks of training with a USATF certified running coach and ACE certified personal trainer. $54 if you register by June 14th.
