About This Activity

The CSRA Navy Day Association is proud to present the 2nd Annual Navy Classic 10 Mile and 5K run on Saturday, 6 December 2014 in downtown Augusta, GA.  This race will be a perfect training race for the Augusta Half-Marathon!  Come enjoy this flat and fast course and demonstrate your patriotism before the 115th Army-Navy Game in support of your local service members stationed here at Fort Gordon.  The NEW and IMPROVED course will start at Enterprise Mill, wind through historic Downtown Augusta on Broad St., loop onto Reynolds St. catching the beautiful Augusta Riverwalk, and head towards the Augusta Canal Trail before returning to Enterprise Mill.  If the 10 Mile course seems a bit too ambitious, sign up for the 5K and join in on the fun!

First 500 registered runners are guaranteed race tech-shirts and grab bags. Onsite registration will be available at packet pickup on Friday, and on race day, 0630-0730… Keep in mind that prices will increase for late registration, so register early for the best deal!

Two $700 Luminox ANU 4200 Series Watches will be given away at the conclusion of the race.  One of these watches will serve as the Grand Prize for the Overall Winner.  All other runners, regardless of finish time, will be entered into a raffle for their chance to win the second watch!

Top 3 males and top 3 females will receive awards, and medals will be given to the top 3 finishers in each age group. In addition to the individual competition, a team competition for the ten-miler will also be held. Your team may consist of 4-6 runners, and the team time will be the fastest 4 finish times of your group. We will have aid stations located approximately every 2.5 miles on the 10 mile course. In addition to the food provided before and after the race, Fat Man's Cafe will be open for full business. There will be a 2.5 hour runner time limit from the start of the race.
