About This Activity

The Epsilon Eta Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma at Auburn University will host the 3rd Annual Kappa Kolor Run on Sunday, March 15th at 1:00pm. This is a 5K color run around Auburn's campus that supports Reading is Fundamental and the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation.

As many as 23% of the adult American population (40-44million) is functionally illiterate (Level 1 according to the National Adult Literacy Survey), lacking basic skills beyond a fourth-grade level. Reading Is Fundamental (RIF) is helping to stop illiteracy in America by giving books at no cost to underprivlaged children of all ages.

The Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation goal is to enhance the lives of Kappa women, and therefore their communities, by providing funds for educational programs, scholarships, and financial aid.

Registration includes a t-shirt and a Runner Bag with lots of goodies inside, including your own bag of color powder.

The paint is tempera powder paint mixed with cornstarch. It is non-toxic and 100% safe. It is not fully washable from clothing but will rinse off skin in appropriate time. The paint does not contain latex, dairy, casein, egg, gluten, peanut, tree nut or soy.
