The Easter Spirit 5K is a trail run, set to take place on March 26th, the day before Easter, at Everest Park. Everest Park is 160 acres of former farmland, with incredible vistas, a pond and stream, and is home to the Brian Bisgrove Home of Courage, athletic fields, and the Everest Park Pavilion. This family-oriented trail run will take you on an exhilarating and challenging path, with multiple elevation changes, and breathtaking scenery. Instead of a traditional medal, all finishers will receive a cross on a chain, celebrating Easter, and the transition from crucifixion to the resurrection of Christ. The Easter Spirit 5K will benefit Champions for Life, a non-profit organization in Auburn, NY dedicated to promoting Christian virtues and character through sports, recreational programs, and activities that foster a love of God, the dignity of the human person, family unity, and respect for others. CFL operates the CFL Sports Center, the Brian Bisgrove Home of Courage, and Everest Park. For more information on Champions for Life and the programming offered through CFL, please visit their website at championsforlife.org.
