About This Activity

The 1st Annual Run 4 Heroes 5k will be held on the beautiful trails of Piedmont Park. Participation in this event supports the women who have fought for our freedom and now need your help to get back on their feet. All proceeds from this event will be donated directly to Final Salute Inc., an organization whose mission is to provide homeless female veterans with safe and suitable housing. Come out prepared to run and have fun. Prizes will be given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place runners for both female and male category.

Event schedule and times

Event Schedule: The race will begin at 8:30am. For those participants who have pre-registered, upon arrival visit the pre-registered booth to receive your t-shirt. For those participants needing to register, please visit the On-site registration table. On-site registration and t-shirt distribution will begin at 7:30am.

Course Info: All parts of the race will occur within the park. Start and finish line will located near the large Pavilion.

Arrival Info: When arriving in the park, follow all signage to the appropriate assembly area. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to commencement of race, to ensure a timely event.

Parking Info: 

Parking in and around the park is very limited. You are strongly encouraged to utilize public transportation. If you drive, you may park at SAGE Parking Facility, 1345 Piedmont Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30309.

The nearest MARTA stations are Midtown and Arts Center.

Upon exiting the Midtown Station, take 10th Street towards Peachtree Street and continue on 10th until you reach Piedmont Avenue. Turn left on Piedmont Avenue and walk two blocks to the 12th and 14th Street gates of Piedmont Park. (or you can continue walking on 10th Street and the park will soon be on your left side).

Exit the Arts Center Station heading south on West Peachtree street for one block. Head east (go left) on 14th Street for three blocks until you reach the 14th Street entrance to the Park.

What to Wear: Dress comfortable, athletic attire


1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in the categories of male and female.
