About This Activity

Of Mercer University's Physician Assistant Program, are proud to present our 5th annual Creepy Crawly 5K Run/Walk, in celebration of national PA Week. We are thankful for the opportunity to study medicine and understand the positive impact we can have in the communities where we will practice. This project, which will benefit Good Samaritan Health Center of Gwinnett, represents our commitment to outreach while we are still students. Our program views this 5K as an opportunity to raise money for an important cause, as well as an occasion for our class to acquaint Mercer University and the PA profession with our surrounding community.

Mercer has recruited a highly qualified group of students with many different types of medical training and life experiences. Despite our diverse backgrounds, the members of our class are united in our love for science, medicine and our desire to apply this learning for the benefit of the patients who will depend on our care. We are excited about the expanding role of our profession in healthcare and look forward to the day when we practice medicine as physician assistants.
