New location. We've moved the race to Grant Park. That means we've got a few more hills, but a super scenic & easy to get to venue with more parking. .

ACC Challenge

The Notre Dame Alumni Club of Atlanta has welcomed all members of the Atlantic Coast Conference to participate in the Irish Dash. The ACC school alumni teams of three which have the lowest collective times for this 5K race will be awarded with contributions to their individual scholarship funds. See event website:

Event Beneficiary

All proceeds go to the Peach State Scholarship - a fund created by the Notre Dame Club of Atlanta to provide financial assistance to Georgia students attending the University.

5K Bonus Package

ND Atlanta build its scholarship fund by registering for this year’s Irish Dash plus participating in three raffles associated with the event. The 1st drawing is for two tickets to the Notre Dame vs. Louisville football game, 11/22/14, at ND. You’ll also receive a chance to win a football autographed by Heisman winner and ND great Paul Hornung and chance at a football autographed by past Notre Dame notables like Mike McCoy, Wes Pritchett, and many more.

Event Schedule

Race Day registration check in starts at 7:00 am, 5K starts at 8:00 am.


Great custom awards to the overall winners and the top 3 in 5 year age groups 5K: 10 & under - 65+.


Short sleeve tech shirts to all participants registered by 10/19 (women's sizes too). Afterwards participants will receive a shirt while supplies last.


Course is completely inside Grant Park. Starting & finishing at the same point and use park paths. It's beautiful & mostly flat.

Five Star Championships & Turkey Trot

All participants will earn FREE entry into the Five Star Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day. Top finishers will also earn a spot in the Five Star 5K Championships to be held on Dec. 20. See event website for complete details.

Event Courtesy Policy

Our events are designed to be fun and for the entire family. With that in mind any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds.
