About This Activity

February is Heart Disease Awareness month. There are 1.5 million heart attacks in America every year and 500,000 deaths. Grab your family and friends and come out to Charity Benevolent Fund 3rd Annual Go For Red 5K Run/Walk & Health Fair to raise awareness of diabetes, heart disease, and stroke. Babies in strollers, Pets on leashes, and Walkers are welcome. Free health screenings will be provided to residents of Metro Atlanta and race participants. Sponsorship and Volunteer opportunites are available. Event details and schedule

Check in starts @ 10:00 am with the 5K Run/Walk starting @ 11:00 a.m. Awards and refreshments will be provided. Free t-shirts with early registrations or while supplies last.

Heart Disease is the number one cause of death in America with stroke at number 3. With 30 minutes of exercise everyday and a change in diet, These risks can be greatly reduced.
