About This Activity
31st Annual Race
Join 1000 or so of your fellow runners and walkers! This is a very fast out and back with a 3/4 mile downhill finish, one of the fastest 5K & 10K races in Georgia and a great Peachtree Road Race seeded qualifier for both both distances! 39% of our runners have qualified for Time Group B (5K=24:28, 10K=50:59) or better over the last 2 years! Also, the event is one of the last chances to race before Peachtree registration opens in mid-March and to get your results submitted.
The race benefits the Chattahoochee Road Runners!
The Chattahoochee Road Runners' Club is a social club which provides a forum for runners in and around the Atlanta area to meet to run, socialize, and discuss running and the running lifestyle. The club offers many opportunities and activities to its members including monthly meetings, a weekly email newsletter, and weekly organized runs, as well as special events throughout the year. We hold the annual Chattahoochee Road Runners 5K/10K race which boasts one the fastest Peachtree qualifying courses in Atlanta. Funds raised from this race not only support the club but also provide donations to local charities and civic organizations.
We welcome all who have an interest in running and the running lifestyle regardless of pace or experience. We currently have members ranging in age from newborns (....but they don't do any speedwork....) to the mid-seventies. The skill levels of our athletes range from beginners, to advanced, to Olympic qualifiers.
