About This Activity
In recognition of Gehrig, who was initiated into Phi Delta Theta at Columbia University, the fundraising efforts of Fraternity members and the Iron Phi program is a way to achieve personal athletic goals while helping The ALS Association and Phi Delta Theta Foundation achieve their collective goal of raising awareness and monies for ALS research. Proceeds from the “Iron Phi-ve” 5k will help fund research efforts for ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. The run is hosted by the undergraduate and alumni chapters of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity across Georgia.
