About This Activity
Come join us for a Strider Camp! Strider Camps are designed to teach younger children the foundation for balance, taking their first step toward riding a bike independently. The camp is based around a 5 day curriculum, teaching a differentskill each day. Each student will receive their own Strider bike as part of the cost of the program. It runs from 9 to 10 am, Monday through Friday, and takes place in the parking lot at Christ the King Episcopal Church. The address is 6409 Carr St., Arvada, CO 80004
This program is open to kids of all abilities. Our goal is to have an completely integrated class with kids with disabilities in addition to other kids to act as peer partners. This class is open to kids ages 2-7 (approximately) and price is variable based on size bike needed (either $225 or $300).

The goal of the STRIDER Camp is to provide a solid foundation of balance and the ability tostride. A young child on a STRIDER is able to develop skills, go on adventures, and keep up on family outings. After the course they willhave a bike that is just their size that enables them to build a lifetime love of the sport of bicycling.
The STRIDER Camp Curriculum is built around five sessions of learning, fun, and instruction that will ensure continued growth through practice and skill building.
These classes are the perfect opportunity to make new friends and practice social interaction.Play is the foundation for all learning for children of all abilities. It unlocks their creativity and imagination, and develops problem solving skills as well as further develops motor skills.
Event schedule and times
The event is from 9-10 am, daily from July 14-18. It will take place in the church parking lot and parking will be available.
Please have your children dressed appropriately for cycling, including shoes, water bottle and helmet. Arrive before 9 am in order to have your child ready to go promptly at 9.
