About This Activity

The CAC 5K is a fun & competitive race in beautiful River Legacy Parks in north Arlington. The course is relatively flat & fast, and is mostly tree-shaded. The 5K is USATF-certified. Visible & legible Distance markers @ Miles 1, 2, 3!  The CAC 1Mile is a stress reducing beautiful stroll through nature!   Free T-Shirts to the first 300 registrations and free pre and post race refreshments!  We have lots and lots of fantastic door prizes!!!  (must be registered for event & present to win)  Your local law enforcement agencies have joined together to help children who have suffered abuse and neglect and needs the support of the community.   Information on keeping your family, home, and community safe is distributed at the event.  Your participation in the CAC Fundraiser will help make a difference in the lives of children and make our community a safer place to live.

The CAC 5K/1M is hosted by the police departments of Arlington, Bedford, Benbrook, Euless, Fort Worth, Grapevine, Hurst, Mansfield, North Richland Hills, Richland Hills, Southlake,  Tarrant County College, UTA, and the Tarrant County's Sheriff's Office.

Total proceeds from the CAC 5K Run are donated toCommunity Partners of Tarrant County (CPTC).  CPTC is a non-profit, on-site, charitable organization benefiting abused and neglected children served by Child Protective Services.  CPTC helps to meet the special needs of children in foster care, strengthens families by providing emergency basic needs, and helps prevent child abuse and neglect.
