The annual Run for the Light House provides scenic half-marathon and 5K routes along the trails of Quiet Waters Park and through the beautiful Chesapeake Bay-front community of Hillsmere Shores. This race event is unlike any other in the greater Annapolis area!

*Returning in 2017 due to popular demand - 1.25 Mile Walk!

All proceeds from the Run for the Light House will benefit the Light House in Annapolis, a well-known public charity working to end the cycle of homelessness and poverty. The race is organized by the Friends of the Light House, Inc., also a public charity, and timing and race management are provided by T3 Race Management.

Race Start

8:00 am Half Marathon

8:45 am 5k Jogging Joe Shafran Memorial Run

9:00 am 1.25 Mile Donut Dash/Walk

All Half Marathon participants should be at the starting line by no later than 7:30 am.

From June 25 to September 9, 2017 - $80.00

From September 10 to Race Day - $90.00

5K Jogging Joe Shafran Memorial Run

Thru June 24, 2017 - $30

From September 10 to Race Day - $50.00

1.25 Mile Donut Dash/Walk - $25

Registration is available on-line through September 21, 2017 at midnight.  If the race is not filled by this date, late registration will be available at packet pick-up and race day until it is sold out.

No refunds or transfers.

The race is open to participants of various levels of fitness and physical abilities as long as you are able to complete the event in under 3.5 hours.
