About This Activity

Taking place in Anderson, SC at the TYB Coaching Computrainer Studio and the Anderson Area YMCA on Saturday, March 7th - Sunday, March 8th, TYB Coaching Triathlon Camp willl provide valueable information for all levels of athletes.

From the first time triathlete to the veterans of the sport, this camp will provide the essential answers from the how of triathlon, the why of triathlon, and the what of triathlon.

With both an empahsisin technique as well as a weekend of solid workouts, coaches will be utilizing video analysis, including underwater analysis in the swim, to analyze technique and form in the swim, bike, and the run.

Also, with this camp being designed for Current TYB Athletes and future TYB Athletes, we will also discuss definintions of workouts, what we really need to "log" in our workouts and why.

Saturday breakfast and lunch - along with Sunday breakfast - will be provided as well as snacks and beverages throughout the weekend and more.

TYB Coach Jamie Church - along with help from other veteran athletes -  will be leading the triathlon camp throughout the weekend.  For more information on the coaches, click HERE.

Please bring your swim gear, bike gear, and run gear for the weekend - along with a heart rate monitor and a trainer skewer - if you have them.

11:45 - 12:30 – Run Training Theory, Technique, and Video Analysis
12:30 – 1:30 – Lunch
1:30 – 3:00 – Pool Time and Underwater Video
3:00 – 4:30 – Swim Technique Talk and Video Analysis
4:30 – 5:15 – Bike Workout Based on FTP
5:15 - 5:45 - General Discussion and Questions
