About This Activity

Taking place in Anderson, SC at the Anderson YMCA and at 3 Cross Tri on Friday, February 21 - Saturday, Friday, February 22nd, the 3 Cross Tri Tri Camp Powered by TYB Coaching willl provide valueable information for all levels of athletes.

From the first time triathlete to the veterans of the sport, this camp will provide the essential answers from everything to how do I properly train for a triathlon to how do I improve my running and swimming form.

With emphasis in technique, coaches will be utilizing video analysis, including underwater analysis in the swim, to analyze technique and form in the swim, bike, and the run.

Saturday breakfast and lunch will be provided as well as snacks and beverages throughout the weekend and more.

TYB Coaches Jamie Church and Pete Edge along with USA Triathlon Level 1 Coach Brian Cheek, with over 40 years of racing experience and 20 years of coaching experience between the two, will be leading the triathlon camp throughout the weekend.  For more information on the coaches, click HERE.

5:30 – 5:45 – Introduction
5:45 – 6:00 – General Swim Technique and Training Theory
6:00 – 6:30 – Pool Time – Drills and Underwater Video Recording
6:30 – 7:15 – Video Analysis of Swim
7:15 – 8:00 – Pool Time – Working on specifics of the Video Analysis
Saturday:
8:00 – 8:30 – Breakfast (Provided)
8:30 – 9:15 – Viewing of Swim Video – Swim Analyis
9:15 – 10:00 – Pool Time – Drills and Form
10:00 – 10:30 – Run Training Theory and Technique
10:30 – 12:00 – Run Workout, Video, and Analysis
12:00 – 1:00 – Lunch (Provided)
1:00 – 1:30 – Nutrition
1:30 – 2:00 – Bike Training Theory and Techinque
2:00 – 3:45 – Bike Workout, Video, and Analysis
3:45 – 4:30 – Transitions – T1 and T2
4:30 – 5:00 – General Question and Answer
