The Trent Waldron Half Marathon is a celebration of life for Marcie Trent and her son, Larry Waldron, who were killed on a training run in July 1995. The half marathon was created as a Mother's Day present by Marcie's husband, John Trent. Marcie Trent and Larry Waldron both loved and encouraged running for everyone. Runners and walkers of all abilities are encouraged to participate. You must start at the official time for your specific race. You will be automatically disqualified if you are registered for the 10K but start with the half marathoners and finish as a 10K. The Trent Waldron races issue awards based on age graded times. Both the Half Marathon and 10K will have age graded awards (i.e. times adjusted based on age) for the top three male and top three female finishers.
