Welcome to the third event (Oct. 11th) of the Lengthen Your Stride Running Series, hosted by American Fork City and produced by Summit Event Management, LLC/Summit Races! This is an exciting start to the 3-event running series where our motto is “Faster, Farther, Stronger!” With races on August 23rd, September 20th, and October 11th, you can choose either the 1-mile or 5K distance each month and gauge your fitness improvement by comparing your times, or choose to run longer with the 10K in September or Half Marathon in October!
At Summit Races, we are committed to helping your improve your health and fitness, and each registration includes a fitness training program from Ultimate Peak’s Coach Keena Schaerrer. We’ll provide you with a week-by-week training program that will help you reach your running goal, whether it’s to improve your times or complete a longer distance event. We look forward to seeing you at the Lengthen Your Stride Series!
Event details and schedule
Electronic chip timing for all Half Marathon, 10K and 5K athletes. The Half Marathon will begin at 8:00am. The 10K and 5K races will begin at 9:00am and 9:05am, respectively, with the One-Miler Fun Run/Walk starting 5 minutes later. Doing the 1-miler and want to know your time? We will have a clock at the Finish Line so you can check your finish time! All athletes will receive a Finisher Medal and Race Shirt! There is plenty of parking at Art Dye Park (the start/finish line), and with an out-and-back course on the Art Dye and Murdock Canal Trails, there's no need to take a bus to the start line! There will be packet pickup on race morning at the Start/Finish line.
