About This Activity

Join us for the 2nd Annual Milton Cross Country Festival 5K Race on the official Milton High School Cross Country Course on September 20, 2015. The course is set entirely within the woods and school grounds of Milton High School and has been described as one of the most natural and interesting High School Cross Country courses in the State of Georgia.

Proceeds from the race will go towards the Crohns and Colitis Foundation of America.  Crohns disease affects over 700,000 Americans.  The Foundation works to provide education, research and support to those afflicted with Crohns and Colitis. For more informaiton please go to www.ccfa.org

Please Register on this page by clicking on the registration button. Online registration will be available through 4:00 PM on Friday, September 18, 2015.  Registration will be available on race day beginning at 7:45 AM.  Those registering on race morning must do so by 8:45 AM in order to enter the race. Race packets will be available prior to the race starting at 7:45 AM and will be distributed up to the 9:00 AM race time.

The Milton Cross Country Festival 5K is part of an entire weekend of Cross Country festivities kicked off by the Fulton County High School Championship held on Saturday morning at 8:00 AM, September 19, 2015 followed by the Alpha Crush USATF Youth Meet on Sunday afternoon September 20, 2015.  The event is being hosted by the Milton Cross Country Booster Club and the Alpha Crush Running Club. Raceday assistance and setup is being provided by the Atlanta Track Club.

Awards will be presented immediately following the finish to (Ages based on birth date as of 9/20/15):
OVERALL - 1st, 2nd & 3rd Male and Female
MASTERS (40 and Over) - 1st Place - Male and Female
8-19 years old - 1st, 2nd & 3rd Male and Female
20-29 years old - 1st, 2nd & 3rd Male and Female
30-39 years old - 1st, 2nd & 3rd Male and Female    
40-49 years old - 1st, 2nd & 3rd Male and Female
50-59 years old - 1st, 2nd & 3rd Male and Female
60 and above - 1st, 2nd & 3rd Male and Female
Pre-registered participants who sign up before 9/18/15 will receive a commemorative Long Sleeve Technical T-shirt on race day. Pre-registration after 9/18/15 and Race day registrants will receive T-shirts while supplies last.
Parking is available in front of either Milton High School or Northwestern Middle School, a short walk from the course area. 
The course is 3 loops, approx 5025m in length. 1st loop is 1000m followed by two loops of 2000m each. Each 1000m and miles are marked with permanent markers on the right hand side of the course. The course is 99% off-road with 3 road crossings of 10m each and 4 wooden bridge crossings of 5m each. The course consists of grass, bark-chip, gravel, dirt and soft pine needle trails. A course map and preview video are available on-line at www.miltonxc.org. It is very spectator friendly as you can see the start, 1000m mark, 3000m mark & two mile split and the finish from one location.
Course monitors will be available during the race.

Participants in the race must be at least seven (7) years of age as of raceday. For the safety and enjoyment of everyone, no pets or wheeled conveyances of any kind, including baby joggers/stroller or bicycles are permitted on the race course.
