Alliance, NE

About This Activity

We're bringing color and courage to Alliance, Nebraska! What better place to build an 'alliance' for abused children than in the Panhandle of Nebraska?

The Nebraska Kids TRUTH Campaign, along with sponsors from all over state, is coming to Alliance to show you a colorful, inspiring, uplifting time like no other!

Since we are an organization that advocates for victims of abuse, we encourage folks to dress up in superhero garb, princess dresses, tutus, mustaches, costumes, etc., to make this a one-of-a-kind day, filled with laughter, fun and color.

After a moment of silence, runners and walkers will take their mark, and then the fun begins! As you finish each of the five kilometers of your run or stroll, there will be a color station set up with local and Nebraska TRUTH volunteers who will play pumped-up music and toss colored powder onto your crisp white Ts. FIVE stations of different colors, PLUS the finish line color party!

After that, you'll need to stop by the 'Selfie Station' and snap some fun photos of the most colorful you you've ever seen!

We want to spread courage and truth around Nebraska, and we're proud to make Alliance one of only 3 Color Me Courageous stops this year. (The others are Ravenna and Lincoln.)

So, register now and show Nebraska how colorful and courageous the Panhandle can be!

Event details and schedule

We'll kick out the detes in an email in the next couple of months. We're working with the good folks in Ravenna on A LOT of different details and ideas, so we'll have a lot more to share in the coming month or two.
