We had so much fun in the spring...why not do it for fall?
Join us for a fun and color-filled 5K that is perfect for all ages! Come get pelted with the colors of Fall as you walk, run, skip, or jog this phenominally fun 5K on the beautiful LSUA Campus!
This fundraiser 5K helps LSUA's Ambassadors attend the Southern Regional Orientation Workshop in Kentucky while an additional portion of the proceeds benefits the Alexandria Museum of Art.
PACKET PICKUP DETAILS:Friday, Nov. 15Noon-5pm: Pick up in MULDER HALL, Center for Academic Success (130) at LSUADay-Of Pick up begins at 6:30a.m. at Registration (Fitness Center)
Day-Of Registraiton and Packet Pick Up: LSUA Fitness Center 6:30-7:45
Race Begins at 8:00a.m.
Park in the Fitness Center lot and adjacent lots only. Access to all campus roads will be restricted 5 minutes prior to race time and will not reopen until the race has concluded.
WHAT TO BRING TO CHECK-IN?
A smile, your ID, and registration fee if registering that morning.
WHAT YOU’LL GET?
Your bib, white March of Colors t-shirt, a bag a color for the start, and probably some other fun stuff.
WHAT TO WEAR?
Your March of Colors t-shirt! White makes the best canvas! Be creative! Dress up! Have fun!
IS IT TIMED?
Yes. Each bib is micro chipped for those wishing to know an official time. However, this is a fun event where you can take your time and enjoy the experience!
WHAT ABOUT THE COLOR?
Non-toxic and mostly washes out after the event. Our “pelters” are instructed to aim low and away from the face. Imagine a giant powdered sugar fight!
RULES & SAFETY
We have just a few rules to ensure that everyone has a FANTASTIC experience.
-The March of Colors is a CLOSED race. Traffic is restricted after the race has begun.
-No alcohol is allowed.
-If you are running with a stroller, please start at the back of the pack. Be courteous to and aware of other runners.
-If you are running with small children, please watch and direct them through the race.
-If you are concerned at all with any part of the color experience, feel free to wear safety glasses, a bandana, or a dust mask.
-Please follow the directions provided by race officials and volunteers.
-Above all, please be courteous and respectful to everyone around you.
CLEAN-UP & REMINDERS
You may want to bring towels, baby wipes, or a change of clothes with you. There will not be a designated “cleaning station.” Covering your cell phone is also a good idea. Sunglasses are suggested.
