About This Activity
The 4th annual Cross Country Courage Classic takes place on a designated cross country course with the beautiful Sandia Mountains as the backdrop. It starts east of the Albuquerque Academy campus, next to the tennis courts, and features a 10k run, 5k run and walk, and a 1k kids fun run. The cross country course exhibits good footing, but there are some areas with deeper, loose sand. The event includes several water/gatorade stations, post-race refreshments, music and a post-race silent auction, with items such as themed gift baskets, gift certificates, handmade blankets and quilts, woodworking items, photography, etc.
100% of the proceeds from the Cross Country Courage Classic will benefit our Pediatric Hematology & Oncology program, and our patients that are receiving treatment for life-threatening illnesses. Thank you for supporting and participating in this years race. You will be making a difference in the lives of these children!
