Each Participant Will Receive

Our gift to you by participating in the Safari Run & Race with Kenyans for Global Health is a hand-carved, wooden safari animal made by a Kenyan artisan in a cooperative in a nearby village where Global Health Partnerships works. You are helping to further the work of GHP of Albuquerque by your participation in these events.

No t-shirts this year

Please note there will not be t-shirts given out at this year's race. Instead, for your participation, you will receive a hand-carved safari animal made by artisans in Kenya.

100% of race registrations will go directly to Global Health Partnerships health projects. GHP is a local non-profit group medical professionals and volunteers work in Kenya as partners with local community organizations and health care providers to improve the health and well being of the poor and marginalized. Each year several UNM medical students travel to Kenya to participate in projects as well. Please visit www.ghp-usa.org for more information.

Our Many THANKS to our generous sponsors: Bernalillo County & Heart & Sole Sports

Did You Know

This is the 6th year Global Health Partnerships has worked with local, elite Kenyan athletes to put on this race. The money raised in previous years from the race went towards the purchase of an ambulance that now serves several villages in Kenya. This year we are happy to collaborate with Bernalillo County.
