About This Activity

The 1st annual "Phi K" Race to Defeat ALS will be held at 194 Spicer Street in Akron, OH. The fraternities of Phi Delta Theta of Akron and Kent State University will be teaming up to raise money to help a cause. This is a philanthropy that is raising money for the ALS Association, which provides treatment and research to find a cure for Lou Gehrig's disease.
The cost is $25 for each runner. Runners will receive a race t-shirt, bottled water, fruit, and ticket to be entered into a raffle. *The first 250 runners to register will be guaranteed a t-shirt!
We will be raffling off an IPad, 32 inch TV, Akron Zips basket (including Akron Rubberduck's tickets), Kent State basket, a basket from your favorite local restaurants, and a college basket with gift cards from Starbucks, Chipotle, and more! Raffle tickets will be sold separately at the event.
Phi Delta Theta will donate $100 to fraternities and sororities who have 15 or more members participate in our event to a philanthropy of their choice!
