Beginner Swim Clinic and Underwater Filming 3/16/14

Event Date

About This Activity

Underwater filming allows a swimmer to see areas where stroke revisions will improve efficiency and performance. This is an excellent opportunity to better understand each swimmer’s technique.  Texas Triple Threat will explain why the participants are not swimming as well as they could be.  The staff will teach the athletes how to be their own best coach and how to build an effective and enjoyable training program that makes the best use of what they learn at the swim clinic.

The 2 hour swim workshop is a "crash course" in freestyle swimming efficiency for competitive, recreational, and fitness swimmers and triathletes. This is the quickest, most effective way to learn the essential skills and proper technique of swimming. Open to participants with no prior formal swim training or intermediate students wanting to brush up on their skills.
- Individualized stroke instruction
- Enhanced technique and coordination
- Improved balance, alignment, rotation and the reduction of drag
- Teaching of drills to help common problems
- Instruction on swimming specifically for triathlons

Clinic with filming is one in-water session and one classroom session.
