Trail and road runners unite! Join us at Roselle Park (1010 Grand River Drive NE, Ada, MI 49301) SATURDAY, SEPT. 28TH @ 9 a.m. for the 2nd Annual GRAND RIVER RUN-8K timed race & 2K-FAMILY-FRIENDLY RUN/WALK as part of the 6th ANNUAL ROSELLE RIVER FESTIVAL.
The 8-K course consists of nearly equal parts paved and off-road trail running at a 240-plus acre nature preserve through wetlands, woodlands, and prairie meadows with beautiful views of the Grand River throughout most of the course. The course is mostly flat, yet challenging, with a few bumps, thumps and bridges involved. 8K runners are welcome to join a registered friend or family member and run the 2K course for free (for a 10K total run). Two water/aid stations are available. Grand River Run Medals and Prizes will be awarded to the top male/female finishers in each age bracket.
The 2K Family Fun Run/Walk is a flat, looped paved run with great views of the Grand River and wildlife. Children 4 and under can run/walk the 2K course for free with a registered 2K event adult (without a race t-shirt). All children finishers will receive ribbons and recognition at the finish line! One water/aid station is available.
